injectors

what is the difference between side feed injectors and top feed ones?

As the name suggests, the position where the fuel feeds into, with respect to the injector body.

Top feed inj. are New Age... but not certain from which New Age MY? I'm assuming from the 1st gen New Age i.e. MY01 Bugeye till present...???

Top feeds and side feeds are very different in shape/style.

Yes all EDM/JDM are top feed from the bugeye onwards.

However fitting kits can be got to fit newage injectors to classics.

Yeah, Carl Davey does the conversion kit I think.

I'm wanting to buy upgrades to my uk bugeye wrx to get over 300bhp

A remap on a any direct-fit VF turbo from 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30, 34, 35, etc., etc.>on will do it. And then some! ;)

Can get VF23-30 very affordable, 2nd hand.

If only wanting <>300, then Andy Forrest's super-quick spooling Hybrid TD04 (AF04H or AFH04?) is prob your best bet.

Even your exisiting TD04L is not a million miles away, after a remap - about 280bhp (if decatted at the d/p section too)...

Be on the lookout for a set of STI Pinks in the for sale section, they come up quite often.
Also a set of Hawkeye WRX/Sti blue injectors will do the job, the Hawk WRX/STI injectors flow the same.
