why do you want it? Just take it off??
Dealer would probably be best for it

Subaru must have thought they were needed

I have it on my spec D, from the factory, but you must be able to get it from a dealer.
There is sound deadening materials that you can get from Halfords and like that are glued on.

Subaru dealers do sell them - they are circa £100 ish.

£100 sounds ok i will ring my local dealer in the morning.
