Problem!!!!
 
Is there any power steering pipes under the intercooler?? Since removing intercooler to sort out my knock sensor ive developed a rather bad steering fluid lead but dont know were its coming from but its at the back of engine sumwere,will get it up in the air tomorrow and have a good luck but just wondered if maybe ive fractured a pipe when i removed the intercooler??:cry:Oh its a p reg classic by the way.Cheers Lee

you shouldnt really come close to the power steering pipes as they run along the top of the inlet manifold on the drivers side and down by the turbo to the rack mate

Thats were the leak seems to be over on the driver side i will have a check tomorrow thank prodriverules :)

there a nightmare to replace m8 sounds like there melted on the exhaust /turbo

Maybe you have dunted the clutch res. is it definetly power steering fluid and not brake or clutch fluid.

Turns out one of the pipes that go into the rack had decided it didnt want to be tight anymore so it backed the nut off that attaches it to the rack:mad:.What i pig to get too aswel.But being a tight arse i fixed it myself so didnt pay out a penny:lol1:.And as for the pipe that backed the nut off.....:hjtwofing.Thanks for the comments guys:thumb:.
