I need new tyres for the scoob
I while a go I had a Eunos with Goodyear eagle ventura tyres on it.For this car it was a brilliant compromise tyre. By compromise tyre I mean - It was hard enough to last a very long time but soft enough to provide loads of grip down country lanes. I am sure there were tyres out there that provided more grip but didn't last too long and ones that lasted a long time but that didn't grip too well. I currently have P1s on my WRX which seem just ok These are my other current options (17in Rims) Bridgestone S02/SO3 Toyo Proxies Eagle Venturas I also feel that different tyres suit different cars? So is there the equivelent hard wearing but grippy tyre that suits the subaru? What is the best compromise for this car? Hope you can help. Thanks Steve |

If you can still get them, then the Goodyear F1s are good tyres. If not either the Toyos or the SO3s will be fine.

Thanks for your help

I agree with ChrisL. At the moment your best bet is the Toyos or Goodyear F1s. I tried both and personally the F1s have the edge particularly in the wet. In the dry, I think the Toyos were slighlty better.
Price: F1s £80-130 each Toyos £70-120 each. D. |
