Right.
There has to be quiet a few on ere' that are a bit tasty with a football that would be up for setting up a sunday league team in a pub league somewhere....Not sure how to work that but it must be possible...

Who would be up for playing in a team or perhaps setting one up?...

This will probably get booted into non-scooby related but it would be really cool to have 15 players tipping up to get stuffed on a wet sunday by the "90 Pinters Arms", with the possibilty of being half decent if we put our minds to it....

DC911 plays a bit (Darren, 22B) and quiet well, I am sure Felstead played footy at that dodgy school http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif he went to and I think Harj said he was a bit handy with a ball....I cant remember.

Well, what do you reckon...perhaps it might be hard because of the spread of everyone around the country....we could always pick on a ****e league full of farmers and war veterans to increase our chances....

Ideas on a postcard!

Hmmm... interesting. Not saying im good though.

Not entirely related, but how about a Scoobynet 5-a-side challenge competition thingy. That might be a good laugh. Teams of Scoobynetters from different parts of the country hooking up to kick the s**t out of each other, oh and a ball maybe http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

James.

Im up for any of the above lads! I use to be a Defender. My record is 2 dislocated Shoulders, 3 knocked out Front Teeth, 4 Broken Shins, 1 Broken Leg and 2 broken Arms.

Plus aload of other minor injuries, so count me in for any of it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

BTW the above is a true statement and has been inflicted onto others while trying to get past me!

I would be in for sure....I have played at a fairly high level (well northern league), and for my county as a kid, can play anywhere and love to get stuck in......Not sure how much use i will be coming from durham.

PeterJ 05 March 2001 04:23 PM

I would be interested if London based.

Peter.

Used to be a 'keeper, Mid-Herts County league. Not sure that I'm quite as agile as I used to be http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Jay m A 05 March 2001 05:21 PM

I'd be up for it if its South London based, I play for a Sunday League team that may fold at the end of the season, so if you want to take it on....

RonaldoH 05 March 2001 08:11 PM

Right, so some intrest....but we need more!!!

Dont matter if your as rusty/drunk as George Best, you should see some of my local boozers on the pitch! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Ronnie,

I'll make myself available for the defensive midfield role...bit old now and not as quick as I used to be so can you get me a fit youngster to do my running please http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

As we appear to have a few people interested from various areas how about a game amongst ourselves somewhere, say South v North or UK v Imports. It should be fairly easy to hire a pitch at a sport centre and I've got a lovely green and white kit we could use http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Yex (Southern Amateur League, Essex Intermediate League, now work X1 when asked )

RonaldoH 06 March 2001 09:50 AM

ok....so southern scoobynetters vs the nothern scoobynetters! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Anyone want to arrange the nothern team? Where shall we play? On a decent pitch would be good...

Southern lot! Training??.....

dc911 06 March 2001 11:33 AM

Ron Im well up for playing
5 a Side comp or Sunday league as we have only got 4 or 5 games left.

Jay m A 06 March 2001 01:10 PM

We should at least meet in a pub and discuss tictacs http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Justin

P.S. I'm up front, right? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Shaunoss 06 March 2001 06:51 PM

Ronnie, I'm not sure if the knees are good enough any more for 90 minutes, but I'll have a good go from midfield.

If you're looking for a pitch, there are two directly next to my house, which haven't been used at all in the 3 months that I've lived here. Recently erected changing rooms and the pitch was marked out, I'd say at the beginning of this season.

Milton Keynes aint a bad area, geographically, if it was north v. south.

Shaun (aka Mully)

Ben H 09 March 2001 12:57 PM
