my temperture guage

when warm and at normal motorway speeds, temp guage is in its normal place( ie just below half way ) (not on the right for those quick witted folks!!) :)

when i speed up to around 80 -100mph the guage drops to about 1/4 then down to c, when i slow down to 70 it returns to its normal postion

someone at work said it could be thermastat, any ideas?????? :wonder:

sounds abit odd this 1 but it could be the temp sender as it sounds like when the rev's pick up and the water pump starts to move the water at an increased rate the sender sends a false reading

its down the back of the manifold on the drivers side on the cross over pipe on the block mate, can be abit tricky but with patience and quater turns of an open ended spanner you'll get there lol.
