Anyone got a Verenti bike?

They look like very good value as its a new brand trying to establish itself but get great reviews. Too good to be true - Carbon frame, Mavic rims and good SRAM components for £1400? In fact I took the plunge as I had a 10% off coupon via the Dragon Ride organisers (that Verenti sponsor) - so I guess it is a bit late now! Anyone got one? Newbie roadie Diesel |
I was going to say..wouldn't you prefer something with a bigger name....but I guess it's to late now anyway.
Enjoy the ride! |
Closest I could get was a carbon Boardman for about £400 more... http://www.boardmanbikes.com/road/road_pro_carbon.html Nice looking bike too. D

The SRAM Rival is similar to Shimano 105 I think.
I'd have thought you'd have got a carbon Specialized, Giant, Trek, Bianchi, Felt for similar money. |
Try as I might, I can't see an engine? £1400 for a bike with no engine?!! ;)

Engine runs on Rioja and curry! ;) D

. Some good prices on Planet X bikes at the moment, SRAM force equipped for the same price. http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/...ght-sram-force |
According to the advertising bumph and reviews. These Verentis are aimed at sportive, non-competitive riding. Front end is higher and the reach is shorter than on an out and out road bike.
