Justice for all?

Given that hanging on to family heirlooms can bring loads of trouble down on the average family. How the hell are these two get "off" with a suspended sentence?

Be amusing of the "heirloom" had been traced back to these two bent coppers.

You KNOW how:
1. One rule for them, one for us:mad:

2. Do as I say, not as I do.

Both rules brought in by Lying Labour...........

Don't see any mention of "heirlooms" in the link. I see that they were handed in however.

Difficult to see that a couple of bent coppers get such a lax sentence for flogging off dangerous weapons! They should be banged up for a long sentence.

So, they get suspended sentences for selling on guns and a pensioner goes to jail for not paying Council Tax.
Does the law of the land depend on the mood of the Judge on the day. :wonder:
I despair

You can say that again....

Here’s a good punishment they sometimes dish out – ‘a day in the court house’

The fact they had to go to court that day is their punishment

So, if I go to court as the officer in the case or any of my witnesses – are we getting punished as well?!!!

Oh, and like we've NOT been THERE.........

Luminous 10 July 2010 09:47 PM

Hold on...they sold GUNS to someone and managed to get off scot free. No doubt there is some sensationalist reporting going on here, but even still. Have we not recently seen just what damage weapons in the wrong hands can do? If they have been handed in, it must have been for a good reason, last thing we want to see is them being sold on again. :@

vindaloo 11 July 2010 06:45 PM

By heirlooms, I meant grandad's revolver etc... Considering the **** an ordinary member of the public can find themselves whilst not knowing any better. I can't conceive why these two are running around free.
