I am looking to buy another scoob and sell my turbo 2000 AWD, looking on a popular online auction website all the V3/V4 STI's all seem to be imported. Is there such thing as a UK spec STI in that range?

It could be that I am not looking hard enough

nope, all impreza's sold through uk channels were awd turbo 2000's

only the japanese domestic market sold the sti's hence them all being imports.

All WRXs and STIs in the classic shape are imports.

The first UK cars to carry the "WRX" and "STi" name were the newage bugeyes :D

The only UK market Classics that were BASED on STi's were the 22B (based on the STi v.4 Type R) and the P1 (based on the STi v.5/6 Type R) - but they were NOT badged "STi" in any way. ;)

I think the JDM version of the 22B was badged "22B-STi" (or it might have been "STi-22B"? lol). The UK version was badged "22B-UK"... I think!
