welcome, .........

as standard, they a very reliable cars, so just check the usual (history etc), i would go for the STi over the gb270, as the GB270 is basically a WRX with a remap, and you would be left wanting more...

btw, at 22, good luck with an insurance quote,

Thanks for the reply. I do really like the look of the GB270 kit and was pretty much my first choice to start. What are the major differences between the Hawkeye STI and WRX models? Insurance is around £2300 Comprehensive, with 5 years NCB and no claims or convictions. Garaged with 7000 annual miles.

who is that with? A plan + keith michaels are usually the most popular and competitive. also as said, take the STI over the GB270, not knocking the GB270 but apart from the nice look of them, thats pretty much where it ends. RB320 ( if you can get one) is much more exclusive and desireable:notworthy. imports generally cost more to insure as well, something to consider if you come across one, but they are better cars though. what is your budget? ask people in the forum to find you a good one as well, you will get some very good examples shown to you for your budget that way by some very knowledgeable members. best of luck mate.

Thanks for the reply. Quote of £2286 with Budget Insurance, that was for the GB270 with the STI being slightly more. Budget not really an issue, i would rather pay a little extra for a lower mileage one too.
