Inlet manifold advice please

Hey guy's

I've got a wrx hawkeye 06 with about 20k on the clock. I'm buying a second hand inlet manifold that I'm gonna get ceramic coated (i know, more style over substance) this other manifold has done about 30k.

When I get the new ceramic coated manifold fitted, do I need a new gasket?

The only thing I can find is "Inlet manifold spacer" off Flat4. Do I really need this as its £100?

Advice needed please, thought I'd ask you guys first. I will be getting a pro to fit it.

Thanks
Gez

hello mate, i would advise that its best to use new gaskets and also i would advise against buying from flat4online. many horror stories on here just do a search on here and you will see.

if you do want to get manifold spacers you will need to two sets of gaskets. one each side of the spacer. the manifold spacers will reduce the temp of the manifold considerably.

hope that helps.

Cheers

DJ
