Well ive been told its sound so no worries the clutch is more important

bear in mind a lighter flywheel is not the same as a lightened flywheel :)

On a general note, we tend not to fit light flywheels unless building a pure track car. They don't do anything for road cars, and for drag use they are a positive disadvantage. It's about inertia carried into the take up when you lift the clutch. Extrapolating it means the less inertia the engine carries, the more likely it is to bog down when pulling away.

So should I stay away from this flywheel or will it be fine?

Judder wise it'll be fine if it's flat!

As examples....

i had a 'lightened' flywheel on my 99 classic (7 or 8 kg's) there was no judder. the revs rose a bit quicker due to less weight but the revs also dropped quicker due to less weight/inertia.

My brother has a flywheel weighing 6.1kg an it judders if taking off at low revs, so he has to give more revs to make it stop.
