quick one lads (Maf)
alright chaps? Just one about my maf, i recently just posted about my lumpy idle, so im gonna give the maf a clean, iv heard you can spray inside the maf with brake cleaner??? Is this correct and how long do you leave it to dry for???

hi,yes thats correct and it dries almost instantly so not long to wait at all.

better to spend the extra few mins to remove and clean and that ensures any dirt cleaned off wont go into the intake.

I didn't think your supposed to clean them, either way is it not a better idea to replace it?
At the end of the day it's a very sensitive piece of equipment, and I for one would want to know it's in good working order. At the end if the day it's your engine and you are running a risk of serious problems if it is even slightly faulty.! |

found what the problem was it was a small vacum pipe which came off the manifold.
