Anyone know where the thread i'm looking for is? Help needed.
 

Hi lads.

I have Standard newage STi KYB shocks (the red ones) in the car and as with all my newages to date the rear left has started knocking. The lads on ISDC.ie said that there was a thread that one of the lads here did up about stripping them and regreasing them.

I have looked for it but cann't seem to find it. Has anyone any idea as to where it is and pkease put up a link to it.

Got sorted lads. Going to do it over the weekend so if it works out fine I'll put the link i'm going to us up.

Ive got this problem, wouldn't mind being able to fix it for free rather than buying new shocks!!!

When you reassemble ensure the flat sides behind the thread on the damper rod engage with the slots inside the bottom of the strut before you tighten the nut. If you don't it will mangle the hole and the nut will spin and you will have trouble getting apart again.
