Turbo up-pipe

The turbo is coming off the car next week to go back to Turbo Dynamics and i'm wondering if whilst it's off it's worth fitting an up pipe?

The car isn't remapped and i'm wondering if it'll cause problems with the engine / fueling etc?

Thoughts / suggestions pls

You've already got an uppipe, I presume you mean a decat or uprated uppipe?

You're better off telling us which model you own as some come with a decat uppipe as standard, and also what spec you're running as this will make a difference also :)

Ahh yeah that'd help lol

I have an 03 Blobeye, with a 3" turbo back exhaust and a nice freshly reconditioned stock turbo. The new up pipe is 2-3" and has no cat (think the stock one has a pre cat in it?).
Am seriously considering a remap at the end of the summer but unitl then is the car going to be ok with this decatted up piping on it?

If driven off boost til then it should be fine - but needs remap asap.

Like Duncan says you'll need a map asap, so get it fitted just before you can have a remap.
