im fairly sure its the kurb weight plate...

what do the 4 weights mean??

need to know the kurb weight and Gross Combined Weight Rating for towing

thanks

oh...its a 1997 2.0 turbo UK spec Impreza

Right...

Top weight is your kurb weight

Second down is the weight you can tow, minus your kurb weight (2950-1750=1200kg)

The one with the 1 - is the front axle weight max
The one with the 2- is the rear axle weight max

as above
kurb weight
max train weight
front axle
rear axle

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gross_v..._weight_rating

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gross_c..._weight_rating

so based on this...the 1750kg would be the Gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR)
(this is the car will all fuel and oil on board and passengers, cargo and towbar, but no trailer)

curb weight is just the car with a full tank of fuel but no passengers or cargo (this is not listed)

and the 2950 kg is the Gross combined weight rating (GCWR)
(this is the same as above but including the trailer fully loaded)
(this means i can tow 1200kgs, if the car weighs 1750 kgs with all passengers and luggage)

BTW it's kerb - with an e.

Usual English way of spelling it is curb. But, when talking of vehicle "wet" weight, British journalism seems to use kerb anyway.
