Thinking of getting a P1 back box for my std uk turbo (cos it's going cheap) I've heard they're not very beefy (sound) so what about if I added a de-cat center section?

Would this give me some beef?

Anyone with a similar combination?

Anyone?

Does any know where i can get a non-stainless (cheap) de-cat center section?

Why would you want a non-stainless one m8? Magnex do a stainless non-resonated (ie just a pipe) centre section for around £65 quid.

i have a p1 back box on my my00 scoob and im well pleased with the sound, although i will soon be having a scoobysport down pipe put on, i will probably leave the centre as it is.

Simon Burton had a spot of bother with his P1 back box. He wrecked it (Knackered the baffles) after decatting the centre section. Maybe it's his balls out driving ;) he has a P1 by the way :D

Whip - I just did'nt see the point in bunging out extra for a stainless one when the rest of the system is mild.

I've now had a drastic change of plans anyway :D
