Hi All,

Looking for advise on the best products to make my Scooby in Silver to have a deep colour and shine.:wonder:

theres a guide right at the top of this section bud look under the white and light colours

jeff`s werkstat kit works very well just done my white hawkeye with the full kit and it has given it such a wet look with alot of gloss and is a doddle to use.

It's the prep that is important here. It'll need a really good polish, preferably machine polished. Then go for the Werkstatt Acrylic, Blackfire All mirror Finish or Dodo Light Fantastic. :thumb:

I have used the werkstat kit now for over a year and it is very easy to use and does give a good finish, very conditioned with good durability, but it doesn't give you the wet look that I am now after hence why I am going to switch to the Dodo juice.

The above not wet enough? ;)

The pics look great:) but its very hard to see the real finish from a photo.
Have YOU seen the finish from the dodo juice, I personally think it gives a much wetter look but perhaps not the durability, but I don't mind adding a fresh coat of wax more often.

I have every wax Dodo produce and used to use them as my wax of choice when professionally detailing ;). Being a light colour you will struggle to show how wet the paint is in a photo.

To get the best out of any product though it's the prep that counts. You can have the £10k a tub of Zymol and if the paint isn't prepped properly it'll only looked like a £10 tub from halfrauds has been slapped on it.

point taken :D
How do you rate the lime prime and super Natural wax combo?

V4JDMSTi 23 June 2010 10:46 PM

Lime prime is a great product. It has a reasonable amount of cut without being harsh enough to leave marring and leaves a great surface to lay down the super natural. IMO to get a paste wax that beats SN you'd have to spend a couple of hundred on a pot. If applied correctly you can get 4 cars worth maybe more out of a panel pot. :D

They've always done a few cleaning products and have only just added Dodo to their range. I got an email from them last night. There's also a thread in the group buy section.
