Have you checked for fault codes?

as above and also could be the boost solenoid if you haven't checked, I had a dip of about 0.2 bar at 5,600 which was the issue.

i haven't had a fault code done, should the solenoid click when ignition is turned on and off?and would it make a difference if i ran it on normal 95 ron unleaded

Ok have a search on here for fault codes, it'll tell you how to retrieve fault codes yourself. It's a bit long winded for me to type. And you'll get a list of codes. Clear them all out go for a good drive. See what comes back. Let us know.

I would check fault codes as above but also running on the 95 ron may affect it especially if it has been mapped on 99ron or v-power..

I've cleared the ecu of codes with the green and black plugs, and it said that the engine check light will flash half second intervals which it did along with a even shorter flash at the end is this a error?? i also cleaned out the boost solenoid at work today and it had black dirt in it i also checked it across a 12volt battery to c if it was working it was ok.Im going to have a long drive now to c if its any better will let u know cheers guy,Dan
