Will this TD05 fit my Subaru?

I have bought TD05 16g from advert below and has arrived in good condition, no issues with seller whatsoever, will this fit my subaru wrx bugeye?

https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...ont-entry.html

It is front entry and has a subaru front cover 14412AA092 / 49178-06310 / TD05H which is great but the actuator has a little mitshubishi symbol on it which has me worried, does any one have any pearls of wisdom which they can share?

Worried about stories that mitsi turbos spin opposite direction etc etc LOL!

should be direct fit , don't worry about the actuator it is just the make, you will need a remap though:thumb:

Lol, sounds like you've put two and two together and made 22 here. All genuine TD- turbos are manufactured by Mitsubishi, which explains the logo.

You've got slightly the wrong end of the stick with the "opposite direction" thing. What you've heard is that turbos used on the standard Lancer setup rotate in the opposite direction to those on the Impreza. That doesn't mean that all turbos manufactured by Mitsubishi rotate that way - indeed there are some used on the Impreza that rotate in the opposite direction.

That will fit physically into your bugeye no problem. Don't forget the other mods and remap you will need to get it working properly though. :)

Hi RS74 and splitpin,

Thank you both for the advice I was unsure if the TD range was Mitsubishi or Garrett, so I knew a little but not a lot, I didn't put 2+2 together and get 22 but neither did I end up at 4!! I think I was concerned that it could be a Lancer turbo with a Subaru front housing & cast manifold if that makes sense?

Well aware of the remap but thank you for spelling it out just in case and thanks for putting my mind at rest!!

Cheers
