Met you going up the main street, me in Blue 5dr with a red mica 4dr in front. I was dead chuffed when you waved, think I'm used to all the miserable sods in Aberdeen.

Hopefully see you soon at one of the meets:D

Mike.

Hi Mike,

Yip, that was me driving through the main street. Quite a few of us out that way, Two Sti's (mine and an import) 4 x P1's and a handful of other Scoobs that all know each other well. Even the local Doctor, who has just got his new WRX wagon (having had a MY98 wagon) gives us a smile and nod of the head when we see him on his rounds.

Know full well what you mean about the miserable "Turbo" sods, but they are not just in Aberdeen my friend. I drove down to West Yorkshire with another local Impreza last Sunday and apart from a very well female driven RB5 that joined us between Glasgow and Gretna, nobody took us on at all…and we saw several Scoob’s on route too. There was even a guy in Skipton, who kept passing us going as hard as he could, showing off his red imported WRX, without so much as looking our way. (We were stopped at the side of the road by the way!)

What an a55hole; Wish I was as cool as he thinks he is!

Catch you later,
Jools & co.

Thanks Jools,

did you have a good run on Saturday? I spent most of the day ripping out shrubs from the back garden, before laying them carefully on a blanket in the boot for the many trips to the skip. We did manage a wee run up Deeside to the Burn O'Vat for a picnic.

That's a cracking looking car you've got, think we maybe saw it a few weeks earlier heading down into Inverurie, but not yourself driving - the wife maybe?

Maybe now that Numpties been converted to a Scoob we'll get some more friendly waves in the Toon.

Cheers,

Mike.

I never bother waving as no sod waves back, especially the women... :(

Numptie - what you do have?

ScoobyLoobyLou 04 April 2002 12:09 PM

Miles, was that you I saw the other morning at the Kingswells roundabout about 07.30ish?

I wiz there on Tuesday morning at about that time, what were you in? Split between working in the Bridge of Don and Altens...

ScoobyLoobyLou 04 April 2002 12:17 PM

I was in my little blue VTR number, I did give you a wave, but it probably looked more like a fit!!!

Miles,

Numptie drives exactly the make, model and colour of car as me :D

Even works for the same company (for the moment!), and parks in the same car park. On Monday both were parked together, and yesterday both were parked facing each other.

I've now got to check the registration numbers before trying to open the door ;)

Nice wave Numptie by the way.:D

Miles - look for the blue VTR on 2 wheels (if L's driving).

aye - it's important to remember that Numpite's been converted BACK to the world of Scoobydome, after a discretion in Evil Evoland.

He was of course a member of that memorable day at the Bellachroy Hotel in Dervaig, September 1998 where we had a Series McRae (mine) a Catalunya (Numptie's) and a Terzo (Gerry's) side-by-side-by-side. BUT we never got a photo (D'oh).
