Google throwing out MS in favour of OSX and Linux

Xcode is the obvious IDE if you're using OS X. I think you still need a cross compiler to build windows apps though. They could use Eclipse, which is Java based.
I'd not be shocked if they ran a VM with Windows / Linux and then ran the IDE within that. Though if Linux, why not just boot into RedHat or something. |
just a smokescreen really, doubt they would ditch it completely. Probably just some high level exec narked with his windows laptop crashing :)

i read that they can pretty much code in whatever ide they want.
If they're anything like us, they'll have dedicated build servers for production/release candidate code - some of those will be windows ;) |
