Brembo's behind these 2009 wheels?

Just a quick Brembo question:
Will Gold Brembo's fit inside these 17" wheels, or will I need to muck about with spacers?
WHEELS ARE 7JX17 PCD 5X100 ET55 BORE 56.1

edit again: with 326mm discs!

Is it a problem with the spokes clearance?
I could tolerate 5mm eibach spacers, but no more.

What about subaru 4-pots, could I squeeze them in?

think it is to do with the spokes, they might fit with spacers,

they fit over 4pots no probs ,but as im upgrading to brembos that why im selling my wheels and brakes,

u can get the sti alloys from 2001-2004 they are 5x100pcd and fit over brembos as do inovite redline alloys in 17 and 18" also fit,

if u look at my sale items u will c the alloys up close with 4pots .

hope this helps mate,

tom

Cheers Tom,
Yes that does help - a lot!:thumb:
I'm upgrading from 2-pot sliders/294mm discs, and bought these wheels brand new 6 months ago, so don't really want to change them.
I pretty much knew subaru 4-pots would fit under them, but got the chance of the Brembos first.
I'll have a test fit this weekend, and borrow some 5mm spacers.
If it doesn't all fit together, I'll pass the Brembo's on and get some 4-pots.
I'm sure someone would do me a swap!

Tomwrx 28 May 2010 10:48 AM

no worries mate,

let me know how u get on

.if they dont fit i will have a full 4pot calipers/disc/pads from mine i may swap

Buggre.
Even with the 5mm spacer the spokes just touch by a midgeys dick.
Not happy with the spacers anyway, as the wheel doesnt seem to
sit on the hub centre ring. I thought these eibach spacers catered for that?
So, either swap to subaru 4-pots, or swap my shiney new wheels for some Sti wheels.

Back to the drawing board . . . . . . .
