hi can anybody tell if i should put a catless upipe on for my remap i already have 280bhp mods were decat downpipe green panel filter walbro fuel pump i have a vf30 turbo and pink sti injectors sti tmic to fit for next remap with andy forrest cheers in advance

yea id say change the uppipe. be restrictive an when mot time put he main downpipe cat back on

IMHO uppipe should be the first thing you decat together with the middle pipe. Just having a single normal cat at the end of your downpipe will get you through an MOT and will be enough to see 320-330 from a VF30 and Pinks.

I may be talking rubbish but I thought only the bugeye WRX had a cat in the up-pipe? Ive had a few strongbows so will probably wrong lol.

I've had 1 or 2 magners, and agree with you. Only the bug WRX's had the cat up-pipe. I replaced mine with ported bug STI headers that had no up-pipe cat:thumb:

so do i not need to replace my uppipe then

All 2ltr UK newage WRX have a cat in the uppipe. STi's don't though.
