Anybody here just moved into Stone Cross (East Sussex)? Owns a blue Scooby with car related plate!

Nathan L 28 March 2002 01:48 PM

Are you in Stone X then ?

I live here but have done for 3 years ish.

My Scoob doesn't have a car related plate though.

LC Geezer 28 March 2002 01:55 PM

Yep - but I don't drive a Scooby :0( Got mates that do (Scott T on this forum). Look out for a Lotus Carlton with car related plate - and then wave to me :0)

Nathan L 28 March 2002 04:51 PM

Will do...

The only other blue Scoob I've seen up this end of town is a P1.

ScoobyK 29 March 2002 07:16 PM

LC Geezer....I guess we've met now !

Hadn't seen this posting until now, and putting 2 & 2 together, I reckon we spoke earlier !! Was in a bit of a rush, and p*ssed off with garage door problems, but will come and have a chat next time I see you.

Amazing to think of the post you made, and the fact that I technically live 2 doors away !!!!!!

Speak soon.

G

Nathan L 29 March 2002 07:32 PM

Rex93 31 March 2002 05:04 PM

First posting for me here, Everyone seems so friendly, so decided
to register. Always let scoobs out onto Friday Street, seen about
four different, so far. Always wave so probably seen you all about.

Nathan L 31 March 2002 05:47 PM

Rex

Hello, welcome to Scoobynet. Now your here your trapped :D

Friday Street, what a nightmare.

What do you drive?

Nathan..

Rex93 31 March 2002 05:54 PM

MY93 silver, Five spokes (17s),Magnex 6x4, WRC spoiler, world rally on boot (did'nt like WRX), scooby on rear shelf(for the kids?) Early model but still kicks it! Parents live at StoneX so always up that way. Thanks for the welcome

Nathan L 31 March 2002 07:27 PM

scooby on rear shelf(for the kids?)
Nah... most people have them :D

I see this car quite a bit around town. Doesn't your missus drive it during the day? Cant get her to wave ;):D

Nathan..

Rex93 31 March 2002 07:49 PM

Nathan

:confused:says she waves all the time:confused:
will wave next time, :D going to wave at them all :D
yes she does drive it more than me, but maybe not as hard! What do you think? First step onto Subaru ladder for us, but certainly not the last. Hope the smileys work, if not HELP. Do you go to any Sussex meets i.e P.Pottage, Bolney etc.
REX.

Nathan L 31 March 2002 08:04 PM

says she waves all the time
I probably miss it because we pass each other fairly rapidly.;)

yes she does drive it more than me, but maybe not as hard!
Don't let her fool you mate I've seen this really moving down Lion Hill into Friday Street.:D Sounds good on full chat.:D:D Looks pretty mean as well those 17's really fill the arches.

Re the Sussex meets I keep trying to get there but never seem to be able to get away from work on the right days. I only get one weekend off in four:(

I've met a few of the guys and girls at a rolling road meet in Hampshire and they are a freindly bunch. If I were you I'd go along. Next is on April 7th if memory serves me correctly.

Nathan

Nathan..

Rex93 31 March 2002 08:51 PM

 NOT SURE ON WHEELS

Wheels certainly add to the car, nice colour, nice style, nice size. Looks the part, have the same problem with ours on the lowering front, not sure I like them too low, seem to lose something? New shape is certainly growing on us, might have to get one yet!. Morettes look great why produce them without!!!!V-NICE Let us know if you plan to go to any meets, make a day of it perhaps and follow along.Get weekends off, but the missus has to book in advance. Missus can't wait for all the wavinghttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/jump.gif

ScoobyK 01 April 2002 08:54 AM

Nathan, just looked at the wheels thread...nice and we must be very close, or just have a house built by the same builder !

Will be looking out for you m8.

Have seen Rex's missus driving about too, though full of little ones so was not exactly full chat !

Rex93 01 April 2002 09:16 AM

ScoobyK

Little ones normally in the back going faster, faster, faster!!
always up for a chat if you see us about:)

REX & Missus:D

XRS 01 April 2002 09:57 AM

Hi guys.

I also see a blue wagon who lives just around the corner from me (other side of town to you). Short no. plate. Have not yet seen him, though Jr.xrs reports that he play golf (as does a green turbo I saw parked up yesterday for the shotgun competition).

See you around (but only if you're up early) :)

Nathan L 01 April 2002 05:07 PM

XRS

I get up early all the time but I have never seen you ;)

Doesn't help you work in Brighton and I work in T.Wells I guess :D

Nathan L 01 April 2002 05:14 PM

Scoobyk

Mine is a Bryant House on Foxes Hollow. Which side of the main road and Dillons / One Stop are you

ScoobyK 01 April 2002 05:16 PM

Nathan, this will sound daft, but I don't know which one Foxes Hollow is !!

However, we're going out for a meal in a little while, and will have a little poodle about.....will make Dillons at 7:00pm if you're about -

Keep it to the floor !

G

ScoobyK 01 April 2002 05:18 PM

Oh, and any other local scoobs that happen to read this are welcome too !!!

Nathan L 01 April 2002 05:22 PM

Foxes Hollow is the estate on the left between the Red Lion Pub and the Stone Cross nursery opposite the used car place.

Will be enjoying dinner at 19.00. :(

Where are you eating? Coopers? On the Ersham Road to Hailsham.

LC Geezer 01 April 2002 05:53 PM

You guys feel free to nick my thread. Looks like you're all talking to each other now which is good. Now you can all give me a wave :0)

Rex93 01 April 2002 06:03 PM

sorry to steel the thread, thanks for getting us all together though. did'nt realise there were so many in such a small area.
PS Lotus Carlton one of my fav motors:cool:

ScoobyK 01 April 2002 08:15 PM

Rex, and that's before you see the plate on the LC !!! There's also a Boxster near us with a related plate, I think the 3 would make an interesting photo LC ?

Nathan, yeah, worked out Foxes and had a little drive round, nice bunch of kids near you gave us the double thumbs up as they shouted "nice scoob mate" - so I gave it a bit of a blast for them !

Ended up eating at F&B near Asda following a blast across Beachy Head...WOW !

Quite often eat at Coopers as it's local although if we both fancy drinking the Taxi drivers are never very impressed - perhaps we should arrange a meet with as many local scoobs as we can and use Coopers ??????? :o)

G

Nathan L 01 April 2002 08:34 PM

Taxi from Coopers, lol thats within staggering distance ;)

Beachy Head road, never driven down there fast before.. Honest ;)

Which estate are you on ? Email me if you don't want to post it up on the board.
