07 sti carbon canister removal
 

I have done a search but im only getting the classics come up.

Im looking to clean my engine bay up and various parts of the car as part of an on going project. Can i completely remove the canister and all the pipe work, valves and weld up where it enters the intake manifold and drill a hole in the petrol cap for ventilation?

You'll find it difficult to remove the canister from the engine bay as its by the fuel tank.

What canister have you found that you think needs removing as it messes up the engine bay?
Do you not think it is there for a reason?

Sorry m8 should of worded it better, I know the canister is at the rear of the car its the pipe work i want to remove from the engine bay and to clear up various other parts of the car like under body etc.
