Can I fit a prodrive exhaust to a GX off STi?

HELP please!!!

Back box from 05 Sti Blob eye - wanting to fit it to a 02 GX Bug Eye.

Been told it will wreck the engine - does that mean I could fit it and get it remapped or just not bother?
