With the foot and mouth problems and the effect of a lot of common land and footpaths being closed there seems to be a problem now with people walking their dogs on dangerous roads.
I have had one very near miss (thank goodness)!
Has anyone else had this problem? If you haven't please be warned! and take care in these trouble times.

Matt

If you want dodgy pedes (imagine in french with the accent http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif ) come to London. What with the tourist trade & narrow streets etc, it is almost open season http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif All the year round http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

Regarding the F&M, people in England are treating it all a bit too lightly http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

My folks live in Ireland & the precautions that EVERYONE seems to be taking, make UK seem that they can't be bothered http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif All shops have disinfectant & even the local churches. All the farms (cereal included) & my folks won't/can't walk their dog in the lanes. Crossing the border takes 30 mins & all non-essential journeys are not encouraged. Farming in Ireland is a bigger part of their GDP than over here, but the seriousness of the disease is just the same http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

(Off soap-box)
