classic wrx and sti suspension - what's the difference?
Trying to find some lowering springs for my classic sti, but all i can find are ones for the wrx and people keep telling me they wont fit:wonder:
Is there any diferenece or is it just cause the box says wrx, cant see why they'd be different. cheers |
I can't seem to find any either, i think the sti has KYB shocks and Eibach springs as standard?
Let me know if you find any! Phil |
And you want to lower it why?
Are you aware that if you lower your car, you will move the roll-centre and it will be MORE prone to roll? Lowering doesn't improve the handling, or the grip, in fact just the opposite:( |

Let me know if you find any! Phil So there isnt a reason why the shouldnt be inter-changable. |
I wouldn't like to say mate, i believe they are lower than a normal wrx though
|
I had apex lowering springs fitted to myoo and have removed to sell and replaced with eibach springs and kyb shocks.
|
can anybody tell me if the physical dimensions, coil sixe and shape of the springs are any different?
|
i have kyb and eibach set up on my 94 wrx and i have to say they transformed the handling of my car:)
|
could we concentrate on the question being asked please.:thumb:
