broken abs ring

Hi guys,

Is it a big job to replace a broken abs ring? Where do I get the parts? What is involved?

Also I have a pair where can I buy sliding pins, new pistons, seals for bug eye four pots?

Cheers

Dan

you will have to buy a cv joint as abs ring comes complete! iv never known them to come seperate! not to much of a job if your used to getting your hands dirty!
godspeed on here will be able to sort you out for your brakes!

If I get one second hand what would need to come off to get it on? Do I need to take the bearing apart?

no just undo the hub nut and cv joint will come out of the bearing! you are better off getting a second hand driveshaft, its easier that messing about with cv boots etc!
you will need to take wheel off, undo hub nut, undo bottom ball joint bolt and split ball joint, then u can pull hub out and pull cv joint out through the hub and bearing, knock roll pin out of the gearbox side and pull other end of shaft off!
