But ................. :D Dear Lord, I know that I haven't talked to you that much, but this past year you have taken away my favourite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favourite actress, Farah Fawcett, my favourite musician, Michael Jackson, and my favourite commentator , Billy McLaren. I just wanted to let you know that my favourite prime minister is Gordon Brown Amen :thumb: |

voted as soon as i could this morning....... trading is starting a 1am in the morning to take into account the results and if the last few hours tonight is anything to go by, it's going to be crazy!!! lol
Oh cant believe people have been barred from voting...that is an absolute joke, polling stations should remain open until the last person has put their vote in the box. |
Yup...I'm at my desk already. FTSE opened up pretty much in line but that was expected, it was more of a precaution than anything else (less of a volatile 7am kick off or so they think :lol1:)
Cables taken a whack but no surprise there...I think the main thing overnight is this BB rumour that they're going to replay any losses/gains over 30% due to ths DOW fk up... As for voting...I don't think most people have realised a hung decision will be worse for the economy... Anyway...YOURS YOURS YOURS :thumb: |
I really can't believe you lot..........
You constantly moan about things like the cost of fuel, the state of the roads, the state of the ecconomy, but leave it to someone else to vote in the tw@ts that run the country.... If you don't vote then how can you complain about whoever is at the helm if you don't do your bit to try to change it. Some people aren't lucky enough to get a vote. As for those that missed out due to the queues, the polling stations were open for 15 hours..... surely they all didn't have to wait until after Corrie? And it looks as if we've got it all to look forward to again! Rant over... |

Heard on the TV this moring that some polling stations wouldnt let people vote and shut their doors at 9.30. if the polling stations have a set time then they should stick to that time. 7am to 10pm. If people want to wait till after corrie then why shouldnt they, 10pm is 10pm. people do have to work and like to have a chill out before they vote. Ive been off this week but didnt go till the evening. Last time I voted the tories were outed. |
I've always voted, and always will as long as I've got a hole in my ar*e, Oh and not for that one eyed Scot pri*k

I understood that the polling stations shut their doors at 10pm - if they shut early then that is not acceptable! What I saw on the TV was queues of people (quite possibly on their way home from the pub) unable to vote after 10pm! Too late! I too work & went after work at 6.30pm, then chilled! (not that there was anything to watch on TV).
