Subaru Impreza STI V5 in need of some TLC
 

Unfortunately I am selling my STI V5 which I have owned for almost 4 years. There have been 2 previous owners and I have always run it on V-Power and Mobil 1 oil, with a service every 6 months at Gatwick Subaru. It has been used daily, mainly on the motorway with almost 124,000 miles on the clock, but the first 76,000 miles were in KM’s (approximately 47,000Miles) as I fitted the convertor at that stage. MOT is until July and Tax runs out June.

The car has the following modifications:
API Refurbished Engine (installed on 80,000)
Lightened Flywheel
Ported headers
Ninja sports cat downpipe, Ninja de-cat centre section and Ninja 2 back box
Up-rated Fuel Pump
TEK 3 ECU remap for V-Power
BC Racing coilovers (BR type 4/3)
Defi boost guage with link controller
Crystal side lights, side repeaters and front indicators
STI pedals
G5 - Clifford Concept 650 alarm with turbo timer (Thatcham Cat 1)
Tracker Monitor (but subscription will need to be renewed by buyer)

The front tyres and front pads have been recently replaced and I have had new calliper seals (for the piston rings) fitted as some had seized.

The bodywork has some rusting on the rear offside wheel arch. There is a dent on the front offside wing and a couple of scratches on the nearside doors. The doors have some dings, some stone chips on the front and the alloys could do with being refurbished, so the car could do with an all over tidy up.
Mechanically, there is some play in the drop links and a slight rattle sound coming from the exhaust heat shield. The rear brake pads and discs will need replacing soon and there is occasional smoke from the exhaust on idle. I think the turbo may need looking into as the oil needs to be topped up at times. The air con pump could also do with replacing.

Original orange side repeaters with bulbs
Original orange front indicators with bulbs
Original STI suspension
TD04
New Simota panel filter
2 x 5 litre bottles of Mobil 1 15W-50 engine oil

Please note that I will be removing the DVD player unless the buyer wishes to negotiate it in the deal.
