Front Subframe

Hope someone can help...

I'm in need of replacing my front subframe on my Type R due to having a slight disagreement with a kerb, which has left me with my alloy offset in the arch. I have changed the Wishbone but hasn't improved thus only leaving me to think its the subframe.

Therefore, I need advice on where would you guy's recommend to take to get fixed? I'm located in the Bedfordshire region but able to travel. Stab in the dark but would anyone hazzard a guess at a cost to replace/labour etc?

Many Thanks in advance... :)

Bent steering rack/track rod end?

or shocker is bent can also upset wheel alignment. As for subframe it isnt a hard job really just more of a job that you dont really want to do if you can avoid it.

Cheers for the replies..:thumb:

I've had a look at the track rod/ steering rack and neither look bent visually, but i suppose as the wheel is 1/2inch out the kink won't easily be shown.

I'll get it checked out at a specialist as otherwise i'll prob be chasing my own tail with replacing parts. Any recommendations on garages?
