we have a '94 subaru impreza wrx . we have been having problems with it starting once we have been out in it and parked up . when we return to the car it wont start and can take ages to start it again . took it to subaru garage near us this morning and they said our camshaft sensor needs changing . can anyone please tell me if we can cahange this ourselves and where it is located . any advice and guidence is much appreciated . thanks katie . :wonder:

Just 1 10mm bolt secures it (that and the crank sensor which may alternatively be the problem). Can sensor is just infront of the oil filler on the right hand side if looking at the engine and the crank sensor is at the front behind the belts just under the alternator :)

yes you can do it yourselfs and if its just the cam shaft sensor then its a two min job
