Bewildered

Have a look at this Mk1 Escort very nice but the price tag.
Enlarge the pictures to see what he`s after. I suppose someone will pay it but don`t see how you can say it`s an investment is it really going to increase anymore. :wonder:

Now this is more up my street still a bit pricey though. :luvlove:
Loving the work that`s gone into that strut brace. And that engine looks so small in there.

This one I can understand the price tag as you would stuggle to pay for the parts within the price tag Vauxhall engine etc. If you added in the labour to put it together the guy would be losing money. :)

I had a chance to buy a mk2 rs 2k replica as my first car. It was still running the 1.1 engine and my folks put me off of it because they said the insurance would be high. Wish I'd have ignored them and bought it. It'd have had a 2.1 pinto on twin 48s by now

My second car was a Mk1 escort 1.1 white. when it`s mot came up the front legs were weeping so I bought a pair of capri legs with disc brakes. Then the master cylinder was`nt big enough so I fitted a 1.6 escort servo and bigger cylinder then the engine had no port for the vacuum pipe so what else could I do ;) but buy a 1.6gt crossflow with a port already on the manifold. :) Then went to put the 12" wheels on and they did`nt clear the brakes so I bought a set of 13" rostyle wheels and tyres. :D
Bl##dy expensive front leg weep. LOL
But what else could a young boy racer do. LOL :thumb:
