Broken down P1 today
 

Went to North Weald today and saw a P1 getting ready to take part in the motor sport event they had there. As I left it was beng loaded onto the back of an RAC lorry. :(

That was well publicised then....... I'm only a few min's drive away from there and didn't even know it was on! :brickwall

Nothing in the local papers, no advertising flyers, nothing...... :cuckoo:

Hope the P1 gets back on the road sonn though...

It was a Green Belt Motor Club sprint, which being grass roots motorsport is no open to the public (keeps the cost down for insurance etc). If you want to get involved join one of your local clubs - they always need marshalls.

It was Mike Shearing P1 (Type r on the boot) that expired, I had the luck to be the next on the road after he had breathed white smoke over the track. When I left he was being attended by the RAC.
