bleed valve a good idea
 

hi all, i am looking to get rid of my wrx ppp bugeye impreza soon and just wanted to play about with it while i could. i don't want to spend to much on a remap so i thought about just turning the boost up to around 16 psi/1 bar via bleed valve. i have a up-rated fuel pump, air filter and a full through exhaust system including a downpipe and also a dump valve(if it makes any difference). i just wanted to know whether a bleed valve would harm my engine. i wont raise the boost pressure permanently, just for a short period of time for a play about. would appreciate all replies. thanks.

you will do harm to your engine if you start messing with the boost.

and with the mods you have a remap is a must.
