please help- advice on Applied Model No

Im looking at a new to me scooby, and having checked the paperwork/ VIN codes etc and HPI check- everything adds up.

However, for interest, I have the VIN No and Applied model number from the engine bay plate and have been trying to decipher them to make sure it is what it is- but I cant decipher them having looked at various links in other threads, such as http://www.iwoc.co.uk/ukcode.html, http://www.cars101.com/subaru/vin.html#examples, and katherin Larkin something.

Could anyone help? Id be interested to see what model you come up with.

The AM No.: GGAEK8D
Option code: MV

VIN: JF1GGAKD35G0*****

Thanks

4. Year code A=MY93? B=MY94 C=MY95? D=MY96? E=MY97 (facelift) F=MY98 G=MY99 H=MY00
5. Unknown (on the JDM this states the number of doors)
6. Model type 8=Turbo E=STi (ie P1) F=Sport
7. Unknown but J=Sport and D=turbo (on the JDM Transmission D=5 Speed Manual AWD P=4 Speed Automatic AWD)

Just by going of the JF1GGA it should be a 2004 WRX Wagon, European spec?
