VF35 Turbo....gaskets, studs etc..
 

I'm soon to fit a VF35 turbo to my 1999 classic turbo 2000. Could one of you helpful chaps tell me exactly what gaskets and studs/bolts I need, as I don't want to re-use the ones on there already, and where can I get them? Part numbers would be a bonus!! ;):thumb:

normally i would say search the major tuners parts suppliers, but as i am in a good mood i have found the parts for the you, the last part isn't always needed but if yours has been on and off an few times it will have had it by now, i have used the supplier in the links are from and have always been impressed with there customer service and they deliver as and when stated, you may get cheaper on ebay if you have a good hunt around

no worries:thumb: just take your time to make sure that you get the oil return on correctly and that you have no leaks after.

if you have a ome intake pipe be very very carefull not to spilt it as because as i found its bigger so the pipe off sets a little more and it can split dead easly, put i smear of oil on the return feed pipe and it will go in easier, and the outlet nipple touches up againts a metal pipe (forgot which it is) some say try tease it back a bit before refit but i didnt so now the boost pipe splitting, and if you have a ome intercooler pipe thats a bugger to get on too so invest in a silicone one then a remap and woosh:thumb:

Cheers mate, hopefully I'll get near 300 bhp with the remap. Oh, I need a 3 port boost solinoid? Where can I find one of those?!

i stayed with the 2 port i know 3 maybe better as it keeps air away from actuator till desired boost but its too late for me now i think and dont like the idea of hitting fuel cut if ewt gose wrong wi blokege etc especialy when i dont have a rev limiter:eek:,, id look on hear or put a wanted post on as some one will have one defo or e bay other than that i duno

For your 3 port boost solenoid try looking in the for sale on here i bought a near brand new one of a guy called matty selling loads of classic bits,think he has a few more for sale,or a few on ebay for £30 - £40.

You probably also need a decent fuel pump, then get the car remapped at enginetuner in plymouth (probably the closest place to you) as you dont want it to go bang on you :(

That's where I'm going Tony, had it mapped there last year, and I do have a walbro fuel pump already on mate. I'll check the for sale section for solenoids.

All those parts can be grabbed from RCMS if you need a one stop shop, and expect 330 bhp on a good day, and your clutch to cry enough soon after....
