power steering res removal

Hi all i need to remove the power steering resovoir to remove my damaged intake pipe on my00 turbo 2000, the intake pipe is the standered one with 4 spouts.

I have removed the jubilee clips to the bendy pipe that goes to the airbox and the clip that fastens the intake pipe to the turbo the bolt which supports the intake pipe to the inlet manifold and all other pipes leading away from the intake pipe, but am struggling to reemove the pipe because the power streering resovoir is in the way so think i need to remove this to allow easy access of the intake pipe to fit the new one.

I did this a few years ago to replace the exact same part but on an sti type r same pipe i think but seems harder on the my00 .

Any help on this matter much appreciated. cheers lee

Lee, before you go too far down this road, the easiest way to get the PAS reservoir out of the way is to remove the entire pump from the engine and rest it over on the wing, leaving the pipes connected. Far less faffing about.

However, all that said, you're going to have a mare of a time replacing a turbo pipe this way. The easier way to do it is to lift the entire inlet manifold. More bolts but a hell of a lot less headache.
