tyre profiles?
hey hav classic type-r sittin on 18's at min with 215/35/18 tyres, but noticed there is alot of nipping of the walls on the tyres so i gotta change all four. any one know if 215/45's will fit with no rubbing? just to give that bit more cushion?

I'd like to know this too. Although I was wondering would 225x35x18's be ok as mine look too narrow for the wheels... Thanks, Rich. |

sean I would imagine it would rub also but not certain. Do you have any photos of your wheels, i'm looking to get 18s on 215/35 but am not sure due to the low profile. Thanks

decided to go for 225x40x18 in the end. found tyres for subaru on a site n decided to go for this. turning seems fine with them no rub and does make the wheel look better as the 215s did make the wheel look narrow. but do get bit of rub at top when goin over bumps. only on one side so putting that down to weak spring. i found on the 35s the alloy was nipping the tire against the road when i hit pot holes and cracks in road. tyre did not look so gd after that.
