Recommend a "fun" motorway muncher!

Hi All,

Yes it's one of those threads again. . ..

I currently drive a 330d (e46) and it's getting a bit long in the tooth (100k miles).

I've been looking at a used motor for about £17-18k.

I really need a wagon with:

- 0-60 sub 7.5sec
- 40+ MPG
- Seat 3 Adults in rear
- Big dog friendly estate boot

I'm currently considering an 06-07 530d

I'd poke around to see if I could get a 335d touring for that kind of money. I'd probably get it remapped as well.

the economy on the 335d is a bit poor? And the back seats are a bit narrow :)

Agree with 530d - ours is now seven years old and has done 85k miles.

Still excellent and still fun to drive!

I'm getting low 30s in mine which I'm happy with - almost all rural road blasting.
Narrow seats? Not heard that before. Legroom isn't huge but it's enough for most.

I'm in the market for a 330d sport if your selling up?, gotta be a manual though:thumb:
