Chasing an old car of mine, Please help.

Hello, can anyone tell me how I could go about finding out where an old car of my lives now :lol1: I sold her about a year ago and I would love to buy her back if the person who has her now, ever wanted to sell her. I sold her to a guy a few miles away who then sold her on again so I dont know where it is now.

Some people have said they have seen her around town but I never had and I was wondering if I could find out where she is.

I dont want to get into hassle doing this or I dont want to do anything bad, I would just like to know where she is.

Thanks claire

Only if you have 'valid' reason ie you have been involved in a incident with the vehicle and the driver has refused to give you the details. (data protection act)

You could try trawlling the mini forums, long shot i know but if the owner is an enthusiast................ Lets face it, if you own a '92/'93 Mini you got to have some enthusiasm:lol1:

Good luck:thumb:

By law, DVLA must protect your personal details held on the registers. DVLA can however, under Government regulations, disclose information from the vehicle register to those who can demonstrate ‘reasonable cause'.

I don't think, 'i want to buy 'this' car back qualifiys as 'reasonable cause' for a government agency to release personal information. Do you?
