camber adjusting

is it possible to adjust the front camber on a MY06 sti? or do i have to buy the adjustable top mounts?

thanks

Yes you can adjust fronts but not the backs you will need camber bolts for the backs.
Its probably better if you get this done professionally, so you can get all four wheels aligned along with the correct amount of camber and toe.

i had it checked 'professionally' geometry setup is fine all round except front nearside that is +1 degree where it should be -1 they said i would need top mounts to adjust???? do you know how much adjustment there is as standard?

i was going to ask this too. i want more camber on the front, the wheels look like the folding under compared to the backs . outside edge wear whats that about lol

i am having some bc coilovers fitted next month and was wondering are the whiteline camber bolts worth paying double the price of the eibach ones?

If ur getting BC get the topmounts too.

On the front the top hub bolt is cammed/ofset. as you rotat it adjust the hub camber. Obv loosen the bottom bolt too.

on the rear with the BC the top hole is elongated. So muscle it into position then lock it off.

Adjustable topmounts are the best tho...

iirc about -1 -1.2 can be achieved just on the camber bolts? on the front atleast.

thanks for that :thumb:

its just that my nearside front is +1 so i want it back to -1 for now. the rest of the car is spot on.

i will be looking at rear 24mm ARB and maybe the front 22mm with links followed by adjustable coilovers if i can stretch to that much in the summer.

with the above i would have the setup checked and adjusted again :)

steve

are all versions of BC coilovers good as they range from 500 - 1200 squids? bear in mind i dont want the car to be a track monster :D
