Ever wired money online
 

I`ve used xoom to send money from the U.S to the U.K. but they don`t seem to do it the other way. I`m looking into Travelex and wondering how it compares to dealing through my bank direct. Their exchange rate looks ok but not as good as other sites i`ve never heard of. Anyone have any experience with this...

I used to do this from Dubai to the UK - just used the banks' facilities, think the limit is 10K UKP without any problems, above this there are checks and issues due to money laundering.

Cannot see why a uk bank would have a problem doing this
