leaking fuel lines under the inlet Subaru charge about £300 + VAT to fix with a moded fuel line, its on the 2.0 WRX 2002 Bugeyes

Subaru USA have said is a fault and in USA it is now a recall see the Link Below

Mine not showing any symptoms yet at 113k. Wonder if ive dropped lucky or its been done in past :wonder:

Steve_PPP 02 April 2010 06:39 PM

i had to fork out £300 to get mine fixed in February (work all done by main Subaru dealer) - will be interested what happens with this. If VOSA force Subaru to make it a recall, will people be able to retrospectively make a claim for the cost of the job?

kevpott 02 April 2010 11:14 PM

i spent 20 quid for the pipe and gaskets . then a whole day doing it my self

nick172sport 03 April 2010 06:08 PM

up for people who are suffering with this problem

kevpott 04 April 2010 08:06 PM

Well I got a letter from Subaru on Monday asking for them to have my car to have a look at the fault on or after the 10th May but this would be a waste of time at the moment due to the weather conditions being above 0c as it only happens when the temp is frezzing has anyone else reported this issue? Or had a letter?

Butty 27 April 2010 04:41 PM

If you've done the work already then make sure you still have the receipt to show Subaru IM - you may be able to claim after VOSA decide what to do.

Hawkeye HGs - now that's another one that may be worth looking into ;)

Stuswrx 27 April 2010 04:45 PM

OK so subaru have asked to have a look at my car should i let them? as I have a few mods such as de cat, remap etc... does anyone think that would be a prob?
