Recommendations for cleaning stainless steel exhaust please. Can I use a normal stainless steel cleaner, like you use for sinks?

Polish in, buff off then wet buff (removes excess) and dry buff to shine.

Down to the price then!

A tube of Autoglym will last years (unless you stand on the tube like I did once) and costs pennies ...well about 150 pennies.

Good for cleaning most bare metals (brass/copper/tin etc...)

Get some ur mams or grans steel wool, works very well.

I always use Autosol metal polish

Erm ,saw on UK Style yesterday, baby oil is the best thing to use. No really.

UK Style - so you're the sad **** that watches it Mate :0) I reckon you need to get out in the Evo more!

heard that also...baby oil, believe it or not.

But you use it once you have cleaned the surface to get a top class shine not as a cleaning agent (brasso works for that)...(the cleaner in my office told me they used to use a little on the kitchen sinks??)

Get in touch with the tradeing standards if it says STAINLESS STEEL it should be STAIN---LESS STEEL!

Seeing as my local ASDA Walmart does n't sell any of the above with the exception of the humble Brasso, Brasso it was. And a very nice job it did, even in the light of the Garage!!

Have you tried lard? I know it sounds bizarre, and god knows how I found out (vicar) but buffing my pipe with lard really works.
