Good place for suits in the 'City'
 

My suits are knackered and so I need a few new ones. I tend to buy decent quality ones and then wear them until well worn!

I used to pop up to Bluewater but I went there on saturday and found Woodhouse has closed (they used to keep Canali, Armani, Kenzo etc), Crombi has closed and House of Fraser no longer keeps Aquascutum.

I can't be bothered to go into the West End but the City of London is quite close. Are there any decent suit shops there?

Nice website, but Savile Row is not in the City mate. I would also suspect a fully tailor made suit might be above budget, I need two or three for work.:)

That looks quite interesting, do they keep a decent range of other brands as well?

Ignore the great unwashed above and go for a New & Lingwood suit, stocked by House of Freakouts (House of Fraser) and Jonny pukepiss (John Lewis)

Both Gieves and Gieves & Hawke are 'still going'. Next door to each other on Saville Row.

In that case 'Suits You' has a sale on at the moment, with suits from £45! :D


And I don't 'do' Lunnen, so have no idea whether Saville Row is in the City or not. :lol1:

Go to Slaters in any decent Northern city. e.g. Aqua Scutum for £350 vs £500 on Regent St.
