Hi to all from sunny Ayrshire.

:thumb: respeckt to the site.

I have recently purchased an sti type r ver 4. This has been my first scooby and I wish someone told me how awsome they are before now.
Ok , down to buisiness. I'm looking to purchase two roof strips / water channels and the rear window seal. If one of you scooby gurus could point me in the right direction.

Hello and Welcome to Scoobynet. I'd say best place to get those from would be the main stealer.....eermm, I mean dealer :D . As I would want new items but it depends on how much they cost ofcourse (and whether there willing to help a JDM owner). Would be worth checking elsewhere though for better prices & possibly second hand from cars that are breaking as there are always some about. :thumb:

Welcome:thumb:

So nobody has ever told you that Scoobys are fantastic?

As for the parts you need........check the for sale section on here and you could put a thread on the wanted section as loads of classics get broke.
I imagine the parts you need are same as the UK cars aswell.

Welcome to Scoobynet.

You'll need to get the roof strips from a local dealer; ask for ones from P1 as any local dealer won't have any parts or data for a type R.

You won't buy them mail order anywhere, as they are nearly 6 feet long and mailing them is impossible. Well, not impossible, but it is impossible that they would arrive in useable condition.

If you are talking about the top rail over the rear screen, it cannot be changed successfully without taking the screen out [ ditto the front screen ]

Neither are jobs for the feint hearted.
