Hi mate
Not sure because I don't have one! but the theory does make sense, the hot air is being pushed into the engine bay:razz:, I think this is why people use reverse scoops so the hot air is directed from the back of the I/C and out of the bonnet. Sorry I cant be of much help :freak3:

No !

Mine was totally unaffected by the swap.... except that after a couple of years it all needs a good clean out.

thanks guys. its just strange. i mean when i done it, the fans decided to come on more. might refuse as only one of the comes on. the main. does the sub ever get used. i got it mapped an the temp seemed fine. its a strange 1 why they come in so early

Jamz_ 27 March 2010 11:38 AM

Cant say I've noticed mine come on more... to be fair, the front mount inter cooler doesn't even get that hot, i think the rad fan gets hotter (and that's after a good hooning around a track)

yea mate that what i mean. because the air is more resrtictive i was wondering if the fans are coming on more because the rad temp is hotter than usual. either way the air con is coming off an hope it soughts it

maybee time for a coolant chnage. it made a massive difference on mine. i hardly hear then come on now even after a hard run.

seddomyster 27 March 2010 01:54 PM

i done 1 last year when my hose went an replaced them. done about 6k mile since. might change it an c how it goes

Jamz_ 27 March 2010 02:11 PM

I was thinking about wiring up the AC fan to come on with with the rad fan to keep temps down
